Privacy Policy

Cheerise Japanese Language Academy (hereinafter, “we” or “our school”) respects the customers’ privacy. We recognize that it is our important responsibility to protect our customers’ personal information with good care. We take actions based on the following policy with regards to handling with our customers’ personal information.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations with regards to Protection of Personal Informaion

We comply with laws and regulations in Japan with regards to protection of personal information and handle personal information properly.

2. Acquisition of Personal Information

When we acquire personal information of our customers, we make an effort to clarify the objectives of its use and take proper and fair measures.

3.Use of Personal Information

”Personal information” stipulated in this Privacy Policy means the information related to personal information which could identify the individual such as name, date of birth, phone number, address and e-mail address, etc.

Personal information provided by our customers will be used by our school for the following objectives:
・To let our customers know the classes and the events of our school and/or related information
・To let our customers know the information about the services of our school
・To analyze our customers’ access to our website

We comply with laws and regulations in Japan with regards to protection of personal information and acquire such information properly.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We don’t provide any third parties with our customers’ personal information without the prior consent of our customers except as provided by law.

5. Management of Personal Information

We designate a supervisor to properly manage personal information we acquired. In addition, we take proper security measures and make an effort to protect personal information from any risks such as leakage, loss, destruction, falsification and unauthorized access from the outside.

6.Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use and Deletion of Personal Information

When we receive the requests from our customers for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and/or deletion of their personal information, we take care of them within a reasonable period of time in accordance with the provisions of the law after confirming that the requests are made by our customers themselves.

Our customers may request disclosure of their personal information held by our school.
(2) Correction and Suspension of Use
Our customers may request correction, suspension of use and/or deletion of their personal information held by our school as necessary.

7. Organization, System and Education

(1) We build a system to be able to handle personal information properly used to operate our school and manage such information properly.
(2) We provide our employees with education and raise their awareness to implement this privacy policy thoroughly.

8.Revision of the Privacy Policy

We revise this privacy policy as necessary to protect personal information and/or respond to the changes of laws and other regulations.
